been wanting to come up with something for future use to represent myself or my character or whatever without necessarily using a name or image of either. the best idea was a logo or something that would represent me. in keeping with the tradition of pseudo-medieval design I tend to like I chose to do a house crest sort of thing.

the bird is a hawk. it's somewhat based on the hylian shield, but I drew equal or larger inspiration from a number of other pictures I saw depicting birds as the crest to represent whoever in various pictures of medieval shields, armor and such or from video games.

and for reference, I believe I've heard of the name "silver hawk" in reference to an old show or super hero or some such. this has nothing at all to do with that if my memory is actually serving me well enough that I'm remembering an existing character
