this is for the :iconemoticonopus: contest theme "Super Powers"

I've been reading The Animator's Survival Kit: Extended Edition, and so far it's been immensely helpful. I feel like this animation stretches and warps far more like the way I've tried and failed to do in the past. though I definitely need to figure out how to make an emote walk less stupid.

anyway, wish me luck!

edit: fixed a little of the walk, at least, and made a couple minor edits to the swing.

edit2: ok. NOW I'm happy with the walking!

There might not be that great colors, but the animation is flawless. Then again, you can't feature too great colors or it'll look kinda awkward animated.

My emotes are for the animation, not the artistic beauty. Old cartoons used very flat colors, but people loved them for the animation behind them. That's what I'm going for. Trying to be both artistically beautiful and animatedly perfect would be doing too much at once. It just isn't necessary for me.

Well, i myself do prefer Tom and Jerry and the oldies over this 100 shades stuff. I mean, 3 fps is not animation, you're right about that.
